Despite the gloomy weather, SJS was filled with joy and laughter as the Josephite brotherhood gathered for the homecoming yesterday. About a hundred alumni came home for the event.
The Holy Eucharist was presided by Fr. Floro Baustista, concelebrated by Fr. Sanny John Paguio, Fr. Marcelo Ballestra, and Fr. Allan Flores. Some members of the Chorus Josephi sung during the mass. The program that followed was spontaneous. Fr. Rector reported on the activities and achievements of the seminary. The breezy weather, the gym - decorated with an array of the seminary's banners, the acoustic instrumental, provided a conducive environment for a hearty conversations. The seminary's signature dishes were served during lunch: monggo and fried galunggong, grilled eggplant and sili matched with tomato, onions and bagoong, and the all-time favorite - tortang sardinas.
