Mary’s B-day celebrated online

​Saint Joseph Seminary (SJS) celebrated the feast of the Nativity of Mary  through mass and activities online on September 8, 2020.
 
Fr. Gary Rex A. Bugtong celebrated a mass with Very Rev. Sanny John Paguio in commemoration of the Birth of Mary, the soon-to-be mother of Jesus, to the couple Saint Ann and Saint Joachim. The mass was premiered on the Facebook page of SJS so that people could be one in the celebration even if they are two screens apart.
 
SJS prepared a Marian Quiz Bee that started at 7:00 in the evening where seminarians, Janne Alexis Turalba (G12), Philip Neri Seares (G11), Aron Jericho Cantil (G10), Ian Ferdimar Balmaceda (G9), Jeraclus Nadarisay (G8), and Cris Jon Gumidam (G7). The Quiz Bee consists of 3 categories, namely, Easy, Average and Difficult.
 
After stressful hour of straining the brain, the game concluded after Sem. Ian Ferdimar Balmaceda (G9) won 1st place, Sem. Aron Jericho Cantil, 2nd; and Sem. Philip Neri Seares who won 3rd place.
